Have you ever wondered what the world would be like if the rules that held society together, and the consequences that backed those rules up suddenly disappeared? What would it be like in a world with no adults, unpredictable teenagers, and the only rules are the ones made by the strongest among them? When dysfunctional teenagers are abandoned on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean, what becomes of it's inhabitants? How long before even the rational ones lose their sanity?
Welcome to Athan Island.
What would you do if you were sent to an island, and you knew the only people on it were those who had committed crimes like you had, or worse? Would you saunter into the island and try to take over? Or hang out in the side, and keep out of people's way? Would you try and swim to the first boat that passed? Choose your alliances carefully, those you befriend can save your life or aid in ending it.

Montana smirked as he heard a wimper of a moan escape those perfect lips. As she pushed away, Montana thought he might have crossed a line, but those fears were quickly abolished as she faced him. Hellen Keller could see the passion in her eyes. That raw fury teetring on the edge of manifesting itself or returning inside. Montana smiled as he thought to himself, "Well...passion is like gravity, all you need is a little push..."
She was leaning forward to kiss him, but montana put a finger to her lips. Vicci stopped moving, their eyes locked together. Montana then leaned towards her, but not for a kiss. He put his chin on her shoulder.
"Be nice?"
He dug his nails into her back.
"But naughty..."
Montana lifted her leg and wrapped it around him.
"Is so much more fun."
He sunk his teeth into her neck and started kissing.

"Who said that was my prize?"
That's when she felt a bite on her neck, something that just sent shivers up her spine. Vicci leaned her head back and bit back a slight moan. She pulled away and turned facing him, clearly debating on whether to kill him or just go with it. As much as she didn't want to admit it to herself, she was craving a bit of attention being alone on this island was definately getting to her.
"Hey now, be nice. Or you'll be forcing me to be mean." she said as she went to kiss him.

Montana was surprised not to get smacked in the face when he kissed her. It wasn't like he expected it though. Montana was never one to be gentle, never one to be soft. For some reason, Vicci brought out that side of him. A side of him he forgot about. A side of him that was buried as soon as Nicole left him for Damien. Montana was stunned at himself for a second, before breaking the kiss and releasing her.
Montana heard what she said, about that being his prize, and suddenly, he snapped back to life. She turned her back to him, which was her first mistake. Montana went up behind her and wrapped his arms around her midsection.
"Who said that was my prize?" He lent forward to her neck and softly bit, waiting for a reaction.

"If you're gonna do it, do it big"
Vicci wasn't prepared for what happened next, a sweet and gentle kiss. Something she definately didn't expect from anyone on this island, let alone the country boy. She pulled away and backed away slightly. "Uhmm i guess that was your prize then eh country boy"she asked.
She turned away from him and looked out to the ocean and the sun that was beginning to set. That was the one thing she definately wasn't expecting, she wasn't about to complain though. She just wasn't sure how to handle it, usually Vicci had no need to deal with boys unless she needed a place to hide out for a bit.
I thought that there were some constants in life—you know, those things that will never change, like that Dragonriders would always be there to protect us. I guess it was naïve, really. It’s practically a rule or something that whenever things are going fine, something will inevitably go wrong, or change, or…you get the picture. About fifteen Turns ago, that something did. Even in the Turns preceding, the populations of dragons had been declining, which wasn’t entirely unexpected given that we were in the midst of an Interval. With fewer dragons hatching and fewer Impressing, those who did Impress were cherished. To become a Dragonrider was to become one of the most elite, provided for in every way. As our only protection, they could not be risked. Afterwards, people would claim that the sparse numbers in the Weyrs had been signs of things to come, and that we should have paid attention, but the reality is that there was no reason anybody should have seen it coming. I don’t know how diminishing dragon populations could have signified it.
First was a decade of widespread drought, crippling the food supply systems all across the planet. People died of starvation in the holds and halls, as what little food there was went to provide for the dragons and their riders. Above all, the Dragonriders had to be provided for. It always seemed like a stupid concept to me, as I watched my siblings and parents and friends wasting away. It must have eventually occurred to others as well, because gradually people began to wonder why they were doing it. When the ‘riders came to collect the food, they would hold some of it back. Who can blame them for wanting to feed their children? The Dragonriders did blame them. When they discovered that food was being withheld, parties of ‘riders would descend on the Holds, tear through every possible place where food could be kept, and remove anything they found. Then, they would leave, abandoning the unfortunate hold in shambles and disappear back to their weyrs.
Holdless numbers increased more quickly than even earlier in the drought, and as more and more of Pern turned to dust, survival became more and more difficult. Even the Dragonriders were affected, but now they weren’t the only ones exploiting the Holds: groups of Renegades, those Holdless who seemed to have lost their former standards, took a page from their book, and began to attack Holds to raid whatever they could, but they weren’t limited to food. They would take anything they could get their hands on: women, men, children, food, runners, belongings… A discreet war of sorts emerged between Riders and Renegades, each trying to assert their rights over the belongings of the people. Perhaps once the Riders had been noble people, dedicated to the protection of Pern, but the need to fight to survive does strange things to people.
Things turned around, but as the rains came once more, they could not wash away the desolation left in the wake of the drought. The Pern that emerged from it was a very different one from that which went into it. Only four Weyrs came out of the drought intact: Fort, Telgar, Bendan and the unified remnants of the rest under the banner Sorother. They are the ultimate power, holding final say over every single aspect of our lives. The Dragonriders can even determine whether we live or die, for it is they who control the food distribution and they who control every aspect of our lives.
Now, Pern is a dangerous place to be. The favoured Holds, those who support the new regime, thrive, and the rest…not so much. Those who are not under the protection of the Dragonriders are at the mercy of the Renegades. To live in a Weyr is to live in a decadent world of plotting, gossip, romance and betrayal. To live in a Hold is to live in a place where every day is uncertain. We do our best to get by, but with so much to do to supply the weyrs, every moment of every day has to be used to its best advantage, or we will suffer the consequences: If we fail to fulfill our duty to the Dragonriders of Pern, the punishments are severe. To live in neither is to be less than nothing, for Between is nothing and we have not even that.
Nothing is constant. Maybe it’s still naïve of me to think it, but if things changed once, they will change again, and a small group of people are daring to question the current state. Perhaps now the Dragonriders are self-indulgent and oblivious, and Renegades prey on the helpless, but there are still a few who cling to the old ways. Not even threatening their families, their dragons and their sanity can deter everyone. It can cow them into submission, but there are still those who dare, quietly, to join with the pockets of resistance springing up across the continent. It is foolhardy of them, for by joining with them they stand to lose everything and gain nothing. The power of the Weyrs is complete--no small band of protesters is capable of achieving anything except death for themselves and possibly their loved ones too. They call it valiant, I just call it stupid. There has been enough death without willfully bringing more.

...Montana and Iggy had just pulled another big job. This one was an exchange of cash for diamonds. Montana held a briefcase containing $145,000 dollars in unmarked, non-sequential bills. and was now driving back to the hideout. The best part about this deal was the fact that the diamonds were fake. Montana looked at Iggy and just chuckled. Iggy started laughing too. The Scapelli mafia ran this town, and Montana and Iggy were two of the most notorious members. Montana rounded a corner and immediately knew things went wrong.
Someone, somehow, figured out the diamonds were fake, and they were after them to get their money back. Montana accelerated as the car was showered with bullets. They were coming to a bridge that was rising and Montana slowed down. Looking around, two bullets found their target, right into Iggy, in the passengers seat. Montana was horrified, but he kept on driving.
They were getting closer and closer to the raising bridge, and Montana saw no alternate routes. Iggy, sensing Montana's desperation and frustration, smacked montana and choked through the blood coming out of his mouth. "If you're gonna do it, do it big." Montana nodded.
His foot found the bottom of the floor, and the gas pedal was right inbetween them. Montana was gonna jump the bridge. He started going. 60, 70, 80 miles an hour. Montana saw thwe edge of the bridge coming up. Looking in the rear view mirror, their would-be assailants were following. Finially reaching the top, Montana braced for impact.
It didn't come.
It was a perfect jump. Montana was going down the other side of the bridge. Slowly slowing down, he looked back and saw all three cars for a split second as they tried to make the jump. Before dropping like rocks into the harbour below. Montana let out an audible cheer as he slowed down on solid ground. Turning to Iggy, he was about to go for a high-five. A pair of lifeless eyes were staring at him. Montana put his head back and punched the steering wheel.
Reaching over, he closed his eyes, and repeated his last words. "If you're gonna do it...do it big..."
Montana was face to face with Vicci. A perfect female body, a dazzling smile, and hypnotizing eyes, asking him what he wanted. He simply said, "If you're gonna do it, do it big" and he leaned forward and kissed her.

Within the few minutes of being in the water she somehow ended up in Montana's arms, not that she was complaining to much. "Well...gotcha. What does country boy get for a prize?" "Well umm, i definately didn't think this one through. I don't nkow what the country boy gets... What does he want?" she asked innocently. She wasn't about to move away quite yet, she wasn't used to being in someones arms. Usually this would have ended with the guy having a black eye but for some reason Montana was different, she felt for once safe with a guy. She looked at him square in the eye waiting for a reply.

"Country boy?"
Montana was about to lash out at her as she called him country boy, but that perfect figure cause a moment of hesitation which was followed by water hitting him in the face.
Montana turned away as Vicky splashed water in his eyes. Wiping his face, he turned back to see her taking off away from him, accompanied by a cry of "Come and get me!" Montana smirked to himself and took off after her. He hadn't been swimming at all lately, but was glad to find that his arms and legs worked just as well in the water as they did on land.
Keeping an eye on his target, he started swimming towards her, catching up in almost no time at all, he noticed they had ended up closer to the shore. Getting within arms reach, he grabbed out and grabbed on to her ankle. Pulling backwards, Montana pulled her right towards him and ended up wrapping his arms around her body, just on instinct. Realizing how awkward this COULD be, he just rolled with it.
"Well...gotcha. What does country boy get for a prize?"

Vicci couldn't help but grin triumphantly "Very happy. Isn't it amazing?" She swam around lazily in the water, letting the smell of brine fill her nostrils. Vicci always loved swimming around, regardless of the water. She kept an eye on where her clothes were sitting and how far they were from the shore. She looked at Montana and smiled devilishly. "Hey country boy, guess what!" she said as she swam up to him. She splashed water at him and yelled"come and get me!" as she took off swimming.

"Wow..."
Montana stopped walking and almost tripped as Vicci stood up and undressed. A gorgeous face, accompanied by a picture perfect body. Montana watched her undress and put her stuff on a nearby rock. He couldn't tear his eyes off her as she strolled past him and right into the water. Montana was quick to follow once she called him in.
The water was cool, but it rejuvenated him like nothing else on this island could. As soon as he could, he dove under water and started swimming towards her. Looking, he saw nothing but blue water, a few fish, and a pair of perfectly toned legs. Montana closed his eyes and shook his head a few times. Montana swam around behind her and resurfaced, brushing his shoulder length dirty blonde hair back with his hands.

Vicci's eyes followed him as he stood up, obviously he was musclular. A mix of working out and living on the island, perhaps. She scanned the horizon and watched as the waves tumbled around, the water didn't look to choppy.
"Hmmm, a dip? Sure lets do it!I haven't been in the ocean yet."
Vicci started to pull off her shoes, her top and her jeans. She stood up with only her bra and booty shorts on, then grabbed the rest of her stuff to hide away. She walked towards the ocean, then spotted some rocks. She put her stuff on them so they would be in eyes sight and that they wouldn't get wet.
"you comming or what?"
She ran into the ocean until it was deep enough for her to go under the water without hitting sand, then surfaced.

Montana smiled. And then he smiled some more. At first he smiled at Vicci's comments, but then he smiled at the realization that he was smiling for the first time in what felt like weeks. Using muscles in his face that had been dormant for god only knew how long, smiling was as refreshing as the water in front of them. Which led Montana to his idea.
"Well, you're right. Laying here is not only a bad idea, but boring too. I have an idea."
Montana stood up, stretched, and rubbed the last of the sleep from his eyes. Looking out to the ocean in front of him, he started thinking about home. About Scrappy, about Anthoni and the rest of the Scapellis. Then he realized something that almost took the smile off his face. Home didn't exist anymore. He turned around and looked down at Vicci. She was a very attractive girl, but Montana wasn't in the mood to turn the charm on just yet. Starting to walk backwards, Montana took his shirt off and tossed it at her.

Vicci carefully stole a glance of the new commer. He was good looking, you know if your into the whole pretty boy thing. Which she normally wasn't, most pretty boys from her experience are just annoying little rich kids. Or jocks looking for something to experiment with, usually that was drugs and sometimes they would try to experiment with her that never went over well.
"you know, i really don't need your advice. I've been on this island for a couple of months and i've been doing fine but thanks anyways.
She reached over and grabbed the fruit biting into it. Fruit was a huge passion for her, something about the sweet taste without all the calories just got to her. Vicci wasn't the type to over worry about her weight and figure but she prided herself on being able to defend herself and kick anyones ass.
"I'm Vicci. So if i'm to keep you company, how exactly do i do that? I mean as you said just sitting here isn't a good idea.

"Yeah, I bet you were. You aren;t gonna get anything just laying around out here."
Montana was becoming more and more jaded towards the other people on this island, whether or not he knew them. He took a breath and laid down beside her. The sky looked rather nice today, and it calmed him for some reason. Montana didn't know why, but the vastness of space relaxed him. Maybe it was the knowledge that someone, somewhere is in a worse situation than him.
"If I can give you some advice, laying here is a bad idea. The waves drown out any sound and someone could sneak up on you."
You caught more flies with honey than vinegar. A little advice can go a long way. Not to mention it was advice that could save her life. Montana took another bite of his mango before realizing he had another one in his pocket. Montana loved his mangos. He loved them back on the mainland and it was his sole guilty pleasure here. Still, the lady did say she was gonna get some food. Montana sat up, reached in his pocket and offered it to her.

"Fuck."
It hadn't quite worked as well as Montana thought it would. Autumn didn't believe him. Why would she? She held all the cards, she held the play book, and for a brief moment, he imagined her as Obi-Wan Kenobi yelling "I have the high ground Anakin!" And there wasn't much he could do about it.
Autumn made a move to leave, pushing his hands away. Montana panicked a bit, he knew that it would be now or never to rescue Heather. Montana let her push him away and take a few steps, before grabbing her by the arm. Montana pulled her back and slammed her back into the tree. If reasoning wouldn't work, brute force would.
His hands found his way to her leg and he lifted it abruptly, wrapping it around him. Montana put his forehead to hers, bringing his lips as close as he could, and whispered,
"Montana Jones doesn't take no for an answer." As he plunged headfirst into a kiss.
(OOC: Told you...TRIED to burn it )
