Killing.
Yes, I know, if this site were completely literate, the teenagers would just kill each other on the island, but if this site was even remotely literate the teenagers wouldn't be abandoned on an island in the first place. So anyways, having proven my site is illiterate, this rule stands. Only those with adminly powers can kill off another character, and even that has to be with GOOD reason and has to be discussed with ME first. [I hate the driver behind this character is not a valid reason  ]
Fighting.
Fighting is perfectly okay, expected even, considering all of the juvenile teenagers have been shoved onto an island with no figures of authority. However your character cannot be involved in a massive fight one thread, then perfectly fine the next. If they get their arm broken, it doesn't heal itself in a day or two. If they get stabbed, the wound isn't going to be gone in the next post. Also, if your character is involved in one fight one thread, then another fight the next, they can't be 'perfect fighters'. They would still have the wounds from the last fight [depending on the severity of it]
Godmoding.
Godmoding is a NO. People can't stand it when they're trying to roleplay with someone, but that person is controlling both characters. That's not fair, unless the character is yours, you have no control over their thoughts, actions or words. If I see any of this you will be warned, and if it continues, banned. 
Ex. Instead of "Casey launched at the boy, and broke his arm, blood spouted out of the wound and she could see the white of the bone glinting in the sun"
use "Casey launched herself at the boy, attempting to break his arm" or something of the like. The other character controls whether or not the arm is broken or not.
Spelling/Grammar.
Grammar is your friend. As is spelling. I can't stress enough how important this one is. If you've ever tried RPing with someone who can't spell, or doesn't know proper use of grammar, you know how annoying it is. Don't do it. If you can't spell, there's a spell check. If you can't use grammar properly, learn because unfortunately grammar and spelling are an important part of life and such. 
Chat Speak.
Chat speak is not tolerated. If I see anyone using 'u' 'r' 'kewl' etc. You will have your head bitten off, and the rest of your body decapitated with a sharpened banana. Sounds tempting, I know, but no. It doesn't take that much extra effort to push a few more keys, or push the proper keys [kewl has the same number of letters as cool, what's the difference? Noob: "Kewl looks better" Casey: "Umm... No it does not."] 
Post Length.
No one liners. Absolutely no one liners. No two liners either.  Posts must be a minimum of 5 well written sentences. Five sentences isn't that hard to do people. I may let people slide if they are having extreme writers block, but that won't happen often. If you cannot post a 5 sentence min. post, wait until you have a muse and post a longer one the next post.
Perfectionists. 
Everyone has flaws. If nobody had flaws, we wouldn't be human. Since this is not a fantasy site, we are all human, thus we all have flaws. No Mary-Sues or Gary-Sues. I don't see this one too often, but it happens sometimes, and there's nothing more annoying then RPing with a perfect character [except maybe one that can't spell worth a damn]. Mary-Sues or Gary-Sues will be warned, and it their perfectionistic behavior continues, they will be banned.
Swearing.
Swearing is okay, but to an extent. If every third word you speak is a cuss, that's over-doing it a little, don't you think? Not only is it over doing it, but every third word as a cuss makes you sound stupid, and angry. Angry stupid people annoy me, because they are useless and have little point to this world. 
Cleanliness. 
Keep it clean. There may be younger people on this site [there shouldn't be, as Proboards TOS say you have to be over 13. But people break rules all the time. Except mine, you break mine and you're story is done.]. If characters get past the kissing, take it to the Mature Board [PM an adminly figure for the password].
Characters.
Part I: One character per account. You can have as many characters as you want, but each character has to have it's own account. It keeps everything organized, and avoids confusion among members. If you have twins, I'm flexible about it, however more then that's pushing it. If your post quality, frequency and overall appeal disintegrate as you add characters you will be asked to drop a few.
Part II: Characters have to have a first and last name, and that name is used as your display name. No 'PoNylUvR224' display names. They make me wanna retch. 
Part III: Characters must be under age 18. An 18 year old would be charged as an adult, and therefore would be sent to jail, not juvie, or the island that represents juvie. I don't know how many people I've had to ask to change this, so now it's in here.
Site Type.
This is not a fantasy site. As illiterate as the government dropping delinquent teens off on an island and leaving them is, it's not a fantasy site. Your character cannot be 12 feet tall, be all powerful, able to move things with his/her mind, etc. If you're looking for that kind of RP, you have come to the wrong place.
Behavior.
Characters can be as nasty as they want to each other, but I have little to no tolerance for [a lot of things] people showing disrespect to the drivers behind the characters [unless you have good reason]. If you dislike someone, keep it to yourself, don't RP with them, and if you must argue keep it to PMs or IM systems. Any racist/sexist/homophobe comments will earn a banning.
Fun.
Have fun, or I'll shoot you with a potatoe gun to amuse myself and the rest of the members that may not be having fun. If you're not having fun, pretend to have fun so you don't make me bring out the potatoe gun. The potatoes don't like the potatoe gun.
You've Got Problems.
If you have a serious problem with these rules, sucks to be you. If you want to attempt and catch me in a good mood to discuss what you have such a huge problem with, go for it, but good moods happen once in a blue moon. If you bring up a point, and I shoot it down, let it go and get on with your life.
Activity
Yes, this is one of those need-to-add things lately. I can't stand it when people join, make a bio, and then leave. What's the point of putting the effort into registering, making a bio, then leaving? If you are going to join and then leave, or join and then make a bio, and leave, please, don't waste our time joining. When you do join and make a bio, please try and get on at least a few times a week, if you aren't going to be on, leave a message in the away boards.
Sexual Comments
This is a new rule. Any comments of a sexual harassing nature will earn an immediate banning. This includes, but is not limited to: Asking for nudie pics, harassing to cyber (cyber sex), continually asking someone to go the the mature board with you. If you are a victim of any of this, alert an admin with proof of what the person said.
C-Box Rules.
This is another new rule, no talk of sexual behaviour of any kind in the c-box whatsoever, there are young people on this site and we must maintain a appropriate outlook to our guests and members, so any talk of sex, drugs, or alcohol will call for a warning, and if it continues a temporary ban. Thank you.
We Are God.
We are God. Even though I get the final say in everything, [secret number is the number of smileys in this post] my admins have more authority then you ever will. Do as they say, or you will not survive here very long.
