Walking with her fists clenched, fighting the urge to scream out wasn't really Heather's style. As a schizophrenic, she had to deal with all kinds of hallucinations, especially now as she didn't have any medication. As a person suffering from a multiple personality disorder, it was even worse. Autumn seemed to want to explore some more dangerous places on the island. Heather had been out of sight for the past few weeks, trying to stay hidden. She knew Athan probably didn't care about her. Well, maybe Montana did, but something was going on with him lately. While she was hiding, she wasn't just gone, she was listening to everything around her..Evesedropping if your would. Either way, Heather found out about the island Natives in this fashion, she also found out about some other gang. Something was telling her that this island was no vacation any more.
"Would you shut it? I don't want to talk to you right now." She said at almost a whisper. Heather was of course talking to her other side, her more violent side. This personality of Heather's liked to be called Autumn. She was evil, malicious, and would stop at nothing to hurt someone else, or Heather herself. Chuckling to her self, Heather continued to mutter. "When do I ever want to talk to you?"
When she made it to the reef, Heather smirked to herself. It was kind of pretty here. The water was crystal clear. When she swam, she liked to swim around the reef, the water held a nice drop off there. It was also a pretty good place to find food. She never liked seafood before this experience, but the island seemed to have grown on her. So, shaking Autumn out of her head the best she could, Heather stripped down to a pair of cutoff shorts and a black tank top. Having nothing to tie back her waist length curls, she quickly grabbed her shoelace out of her left sneaker in order to tie her hair back into a pony tail. Figuring that this was good enough, Heather lowered herself into the water and pushed off, scanning the bottom for some crabs or muscles that, when cooked, would make a delicious lunch.

Vicci was walking along the sandy beach in a daze, it had been almost days since she last touched any drugs and it was getting to her. Despite being stuck on this island with juvenile delinquents, it was the most gorgeous place she had seen in nature. That was saying alot considering Vicci loved being in the wilderness. She made her way down the beach towards the blue-green ocean, that was oddly enough as smooth as a plane of glass. That's when she heard a voice. "When do I ever want to talk to you?" She looked around trying to see where this person was, it was clearly a girls voice. That's when she made out the figure of a girl about 20 feet away from her and in the ocean. There was no one else with the girl. Why the hell is she talking to herself? Vicci wondered to herself. Then again who am i to judge, sometimes hearing your own voice is the only thing that keeps you sane around here. Vicci started to walk again, trying not be heard. She didn't have the intention to draw anymore of Athan Island's residents to herself.

It didn't take long for her to resurface. After a moment or two, Heather crawled onto the beach again, cradling something in her hands. Moving quickly, Heather tossed two good-sized crabs onto her waiting long sleeved shirt. It took seconds, Heather tied them up inside the shirt so they couldn't get away. She wondered since getting on this island, why the crabs did not try to pinch their way out of her shirt? Maybe they were just stupid, she wasn't sure, but either way there had been no holes torn in shirts by crabs any time in the past.
Heather stood a moment and thought to herself. How would she cook them? It was a good day to start a fire, and the girl knew how..Sad to say she had been in a boy scouts type group when she was younger. The only thing she really remembered was how to build a fire from nothing, how to rig a small shelter, and how to find bits of fresh water in the wilderness. So, would she impale them on a stick and roast the buggers to death, or maybe if there was something around what could act as a pot for water. A turtle shell, or maybe a conch? No, too time consuming to find at the time. Heather did, however, remind herself to keep an eye out for something like that, it would come in handy.
Heather heard a noise behind her. If she wasn't so jumpy, she probably would have ignored it. The problem was, Heather didn't distinguish reality and fiction as different things alot of the time. The noise could be real, or just a hallucination of the ears. She checked everything out anyway, just in case. She turned her head slowly behind her to find another female beginning to walk from a where she was standing. How long had she been standing there? Was she a hallucination? Oh well, hallucination or not, she was there. So as she picked up small twigs of drift wood and what appeared to be dry sea weed or coco nut husks, Heather got to work, digging a small pit in the sand with her foot for where her fire was going to be. There were two smooth sticks just the right length, and a flat piece of wood she could use as a base. Now.. A piece of string for the bow. Then she could create friction for her spark. The shoelace that was tying her hair back solved this dilemma..Damn shoelaces are useful.
Anyway, Heather was preparing to start her fire as she spoke out loud, her voice raised so the girl could hear her. "Is sneaking around people a hobby of yours or something?"

Vicci walked down the beach squishing teh sand between her toes, something she liked to do since she was a kid. The seagulls cried over head, and she started to wonder where would she get her next source of food. Seagulls might be something good to eat since they surely didn't go without food but damn they were going to be hard fuckers to catch, you know since they could fly and she was stuck on the ground. Vicci stopped where she was standing digging her feet into the sand and staring up in the sky watching the seagulls, she completely forgot about the girl that must have been 20 feet behind her. She continued to look up in the seagulls then over to the treeline, wondering if possibly she could lure one of them to the trees and catch it.Then Vicci remeber hey wait i'm right at the ocean fishing would be a hell of alot easier, she even knew how to fish and cook the fish. "Is sneaking around people a hobby of yours or something?" Vicci was shocked at the voice that suddenly penetrated her thoughts. For the past five minutes she thought it was only her around this beach, thats until she remeber the girl. She turned around and looked at her suspiciously. Should I answer her, Vicci thought to herself. After a quick debate with , she decided to answer her. "A hobby? Hardly, i'm just good at it, if you aren't careful someone may sneak up on you. Vicci looked at the girl with interest, she was beautiful girl but you could tell there was something wrong with her. Just by the way she was looking at Vicci, like she wasn't sure if Vicci was really there or just her imagination. Vicci walked towards her and sat about 5 feet away from her, ready to get up and fight IF this girl was dangerous. She started to play with her long blackish purple hair, which was in desperate need of a wash. Maybe a swim in the ocean would do her some good besides getting some food.

"No one sneaks up on me. Not unless they feel like leaving in a coffin." Heather said. She chuckled, but it was the hollow tone in her voice that scared most people. It was hard living the way she did. She was almost void of emotion alot of the time. Void of all emotion except fear really. It sucked, to be quite plain and simple about it. She noticed the other girl sit, and took a look at her out of the corner of those electric blue eyes. She looked pretty harmless, scared of Heather if anything. The girl shook her head slightly. It was Autumn one had to be afraid of.
She didn't even notice the smoke starting at the base of the stick she was using to light the fire. She must have lost track of time or became too consumed in her thoughts. Either way, there was no punking out now. It was dry, that was the only reason Heather was having such luck with this fire. She worked the bow for afew more minutes (though it seemed like hours), peering down every so often to see if she had enough of an ember. "You see, the trick is to get enough momentum so that the wood doesn't cool down.." she mumbled just before tipping the ember she had into the dry coconut husks. Heather cupped the husks in her hand and blew gently into them. 'C'mon you sonofabitch' she thought.
Success. Heather saw a small flame starting in the coconut husks. She shoved the bundle under some drift wood she had thrown together earlier. The satisfying crackle of the fire was comforting to her. It promised food. "See? Nothing to it. You hungry? I've got two crabs to cook, I don't mind.." She was being friendly, it wouldn't hurt. Heather threw afew more pieces of drift wood on the fire before getting up to get more, leaving the girl to make her decision.

You see, the trick is to get enough momentum so that the wood doesn't cool down.."
Vicci watched with interest as this girl started to make a fire. Vicci never learned how to make a fire from anything well besides using gasoline and a lighter or match but unfortunatly there was none of those supplies here. The ember started to glow and the girl tipped it into the coconut husks, causing them to burn quick and bright. Then the drift wood was put on top, Vicci wondered wouldn't that smother the fire? Sure enough the drift wood caught fire and started to burn as well. Vicci watched in fascination. Despite the fact that it was overly hot as is, the sight of fire made her fell all warm inside. She watched as the flames jumped and grew, making tiny moving pictures.
"See? Nothing to it. You hungry? I've got two crabs to cook, I don't mind.."
The girls voice made her tear her vision away from the growing flames to the two crabs. Vicci never had crab and was kinda interested in trying it out. "Hmmm yea sure, thanks alot. Do you want any help with anything?" Vicci asked.
